There seem to be lots of things missing or that just plain don't work.
That's not a question. Its a statement. It's an honest mistake to be sure, but maybe its a sign that you should start spending more time thinking about how you might improve yourself and a little less time nitpicking every little detail of any given website.

Kent Holtorf is a Fraud

Fox News recently ran a story about the H1N1 vaccine. To better inform the public Fox brought in an alleged infectious disease expert named Dr. Kent Holtorf. Kent proceeded to tell Americans that the vaccine is more deadly then the virus itself and that basically vaccines cause autism. Kent's entire logic and understanding of the vaccines was unsupported by any actual science out there. Worse, Kent Holtorf who is actually an expert of anti-aging procedures has no credibility to be discussing disease, autism, or vaccines. His only credential is running a clinic that scares people into believing that hormone treatments are dangerous and encourages them to opt for an alternative treatment, which (big shocker), they can only get at Kent's clinic who specially design it. - Another endless example of what a piece of shit Fox News is for having this guy come in to misinform the American people.

They are not only airing bullshit as news but there doing at the cost of people's lives. My grandfather, like many WASP's, watches Fox news religiously and now believes that the vaccine is dangerous. I love my grandfather more then anything and the thought of him not getting the vaccines in his current medical state because of these assholes on Fox News is enraging. I believe that these people on Fox News and these fucking bullshit doctors who are trying to scare people using pseudoscience should be charged with genocide.

What penalty does Fox pay for touting him as a infectious diseases expert?...... its insanity that people watch that station.

Larger amount of viewers, Chris. They feed off of this type of press.

This kind of thing scares me to no end. Is there no organization set up to hold networks accountable for straight-up deception within the media? Fox has crossed the line far too often.

Too many people love Fox News to band against the network, it's pathetic really.

yeah but i think enough people hate fox news that watch things like family guy simpsons, american dad, cleveland show, and whatnot. i think if fox started losing money in those venues they might be more inclined to stop lying for a living to everyone else on the planet.

Some worrisome new studies on the safety of vaccines----
A New study out shows male infants who got vaccinated with Hep B vaccine had a 3 fold increase in autism.
Hepatitis B Vaccination of Male Neonates and Autism
Annals of Epidemiology, Volume 19, Issue 9, Pages 659-659
C. Gallagher, M. Goodman
Another new study out this week showed a single does of thimerasol containing vaccine caused developmental delay in all the primates it was given to.
Neurotoxicology. 2009 Oct 2. [Epub ahead of print]
Delayed acquisition of neonatal reflexes in newborn primates receiving a thimerosal-containing Hepatitis B vaccine: Influence of gestational age and birth weight.
Hewitson L, Houser LA, Stott C, Sackett G, Tomko JL, Atwood D, Blue L, Railey White E, Wakefield AJ.
While there are some studies that do not show an association, negative studies do not prove that there is no association, only that in that study there was less than a 95% chance that there was a cause and effect. So if the study found that that there was a say 50%, 80% or 90% chance that vaccines caused the condition in question the study is considered negative. It is not proving there is no association. You cannot ignore the data.
Looking at the science, there is certainly reason to have concerns of the vaccines. Hmm, it looks like Holtorf is the reasonable one that has taken the time to look at the data and not just regurgitated data by the CDC.

What about thimerosal? Mercury or thimerosal in vaccines have been taken out of virtually all vaccines. There's little remaining thimerosal in the vaccine supply.

Stephy I thank you for the links and I will read through the literature and post what I objectively think about it. I am always trying to keep an open mind on everything before I make my decision. With that said I have read through much of the literature thus far on vaccines and have yet to find any definitive evidence demonstrating they are harmful. When I have more time I will post some of the that literature for you to read if you like.

Hey Virginia, have you had a chance to review the study mentioned? I forgot to read it yesterday evening and tonight I'll be at work - was wondering what your take on it is.

Let me know if it mentions anything about conclusions being supported by a large amount of aluminum in the vaccination. Aluminum appears to be the big worry now that thimerosal has taken a back seat. Dr. Sears wrote a lengthy article on it although he failed to provide any scientific data that supports his concerns.

No, not yet been really busy with school work. I plan to look over it either today or tomorrow.
