"The purpose of this action is to improve the mental health of the convict, to lower his libido and thereby to reduce the risk of another crime being committed by the same person," the government said in a statement. Prime Minister Donald Tusk said late last year he wanted obligatory castration for paedophiles, whom he branded 'degenerates'. Do you think this should be a human rights issue? In this case I agree with Poland. Want to stick your dick in a kid? Just know that your dick will be cut off if you do... I'm pretty sure the threat of having your penis removed is a big one for most guys. 
i think this is a great idea... so long as chris hanson personally performs the procedure on tv. 
Screw that, they should use real castration, Hard Candy style. Not this chemical BS. 
Regardless of whether the mandatory castration will be effective in any way, the statements made by Donald Tusk are ridiculous. Pedophilia is clearly a mental health issue and there do exist pedophiles who do not offend. The people who recognize their disorder and actively seek treatment for it probably don't appreciate being dehumanized by their own countries' leader.
