Rick Mercer, Canada's premier comedy news anchor, has re-released a 2007 video for the current "It Gets Better" campaign aimed at gay or minority youths at risk of bullying and/or suicide.

The video is in the style of Mercer's long running 'walking rant' shorts, first made famous on Royal Canadian Air Farce This Hour Has 22 Minutes and now (I think) a regular part of the Mercer Report.

(For any non-Canadians who are still confused, Rick Mercer is kind of like our Stephen Colbert, but more like-able and without the trying-too-hard.)

I had never seen the original airing, so I quite enjoyed seeing it this time around.
