Across Africa poachers make a nice living off hunting bushmeat. They set up traps in the jungles where the few remaining troops of chimpanzees and bonobos call home. This story is not all sad, however, recently research (as seen in video in link) have observed a few chimps living in the rainforests of Guinea that can not only recognize snare traps laid down by poachers they also actually activity seek them out just so they can destroy them. How awesome is that? We may actually be seeing the influence of human nature on chimp evolution. Read more at BBC.com

To suggest that we can learn anything about the simian nature from a study of man is sheer nonsense. Why, man is a nuisance. He eats up his food supply in the forest, then migrates to our green belts and ravages our crops. The sooner he is exterminated, the better. It's a question of simian survival.
