There seem to be lots of things missing or that just plain don't work.
That's not a question. Its a statement. It's an honest mistake to be sure, but maybe its a sign that you should start spending more time thinking about how you might improve yourself and a little less time nitpicking every little detail of any given website.

Tour de Farce? Floyd Landis on Cycling, Doping, and Lance Armstrong.

http://si.wsj.net/public/resources/images/OB-JC900_landis_G_20100702200604.jpg The Wall Street Journal tells the story of Floyd Landis, who rode with Lance Armstrong for the US Postal cycling team during the height of their success at the Tour de France. Landis was later suspended from the sport for 2 years for using performance enhancing drugs.

Here, a more systematic doping process is described, which implicates Armstrong as well as the entire US Postal cycling team, and casts a pretty dark shadow over the success the team accumulated over the years.

The current system set up with athletes and drug use can learn a thing or two from game theory. A situation is set up with the costs associated with cheating are high, however, the benefits athletes gain through drug use are still higher in many cases. Professional sporting competitions should be set up were rather than punishing the athletes for taking drugs just allow them to compete.  They should set up rules, however, that take points away for drug use. Since it is an unfair advantage for those taking the drugs.  Counteracting these gains makes it more difficult for those druggies to compete. Setting up a system that deducts points or time away from these athletes,  I think, would help deter them from taking the drugs in the first place. Also they should get asterisks by there name to point out their advantages.

Nice in theory, but it still doesn't deter athletes from doping up in secret. Which is why I propose a new system of giving the highest honours to the athlete that can sing the most riveting rendition of "Octopus's Garden" seconds after completing the Tour de France.
