There seem to be lots of things missing or that just plain don't work.
That's not a question. Its a statement. It's an honest mistake to be sure, but maybe its a sign that you should start spending more time thinking about how you might improve yourself and a little less time nitpicking every little detail of any given website.

Irrational Decisions - Relativity

Another article about irrational human behavior. This one instead covers how we behave when we have two options which are similar to one another versus when we have two options which have little in common. We have an easy time with the former, while we have a difficult time with the latter. It turns out that if you have the latter case with two dissimilar items and you introduce a third item which is like the first item but worse, people jump toward the first item even when they wouldn't have chosen it over the second item prior to the introduction of the third item, simply because it turns the decision into one that we process easier.

Interesting article. Enjoyed the story about the bread making machine marketing technique. Where you introduce a novel product and nobody is interested because they do not have a point of reference. With nothing to compare it to they opt to spend their money elsewhere. To correct for this you need to create a more expensive model of the first machine and now you have people interested in your product. Intuitive but interesting nonetheless.

this marketing strategy probably works both ways. How many people would buy the more expensive one because it must be better quality? If any reasonable amount, it would make sense to release a lower priced version just to enforce that ridiculous attitude.
