Through good content and a lot of research on Search Engine Optimization, we are seeing real results.
I saw a good example today.
If you search for Adri Fossil on google you can see that there are 76,000 results. Idiotechnica has the number 4 position.

for like the 5th time in 2 weeks we've broken our unique hits record with a total of 86 unique visitors. it doesnt sound like much necessarily, but the visits are all quality hits and we have a great uptrend going. i hope it continues.

If I'm not sending my articles to FB, it's because I'm at work and this company is anti-FB; I try to remember to once I get home. Going to try and create a facebook fan page & group for idiotechnica tomorrow evening since I have the night off from B&N.

Do we know where the bulk of the unique visits are linking to? That is, are they linking directly to articles from google, or are they hitting the home page first?

most of the hits are directly to articles. almost nothing that isnt direct traffic comes through the homepage...which is preferable.

I don't know yet since I've never done it before on facebook, I'm just aware that a lot of my friends promote their sites and businesses in such a fashion. If there is a password I'll let you guys know.

Dylan hasn't added me as a friend yet, which is perhaps smart on his part.
At any rate, I added Virginia as an admin and it's giving me the option to send an admin invite to email addresses.

I currently have it in unpublished status so it's only visible to admins so that you all can get it to where you feel it looks presentable. Virginia will be able to start editing it as she sees fit once she accepts the admin invite [i think] lol.

Judging by the sheer size of some of these political groups I just joined, prepare for quite a few visitors.
