There seem to be lots of things missing or that just plain don't work.
That's not a question. Its a statement. It's an honest mistake to be sure, but maybe its a sign that you should start spending more time thinking about how you might improve yourself and a little less time nitpicking every little detail of any given website.

Metallica 2009 Tour-Bank Atlantic Center

So even though I've been a Metallica fan since about '87, I never happened to see them live. I think I may be the last person in the US to go to their show, but my wife makes up the deficit, this being her fourth time. They really kicked ass. I've seen a lot of rock concerts in recent years, including some new bands and some old arena acts. It always disappointing to see a fledgling band blow a live performance. With the music business in trouble the last 5 years, the new bands just don't learn how to work an arena like the rockers of the 70's and 80's did. Metallica, aside from just pounding my brain, had lasers, fire balls, plumes of fire, and my favorite...the 100 black beach balls with the Metallica logo bouncing around the stadium. They performed many of the old favorites...Master of Puppets, Seek and Destroy, For Whom the Bell Tolls and rounding out with One and a few songs from their new album 'Death Magnetic'. I didn't know Lars was back in the band so that was a nice surprise. The bass replacement should just be bathed in green spotlight for the whole show, cuz he stomps around stage like a Hulk, which is to say he's fucking awesome. My only complaint was no songs from Load. I loved that album... I know I'm in the minority but I thought Hero of the Day and 'Until it Sleeps' were pretty fun songs. Fla tooks some video with her camera and if its any good we'll post it soon. If anyone finds a clip of the 4 guys fist fighting over who takes home the beach ball, I'd love to see that.

5 out of 5 stars.

They really played their guts out tonight. I couldn't get into the opening act 'Lamb of God'. They had one of those singers that just yells in a deep voice. I listened to 5 songs and didnt understand one word he said.

I would have liked to have gone. :/
I was across the street at Regal. Holy christ, there were a lot of Metallica fans in the Sawgrass parking lot. Cheapasses. Haha.

We parked there, and had dinner at the cheesecake factory before the show. It seems that Metallica is soooooo fucking awesome that its ok to break the rule about not wearing the bands shirt to their own concert.

Even though they are renouned as huge d-bags, I would like to see a Metallica show. They really do know how to put on a spectacle.

Really though about Load? "Until it Sleeps" is one of my most awkward music memories.
