My apologies
11/09/11 06:19 PM

It seems my old, old, oollld yahoo.ca account has been sending spam to all my old, old contacts.

This raises the question, why does Yahoo even exist?  Who uses it?   Who owns it? Why doesn't it just go away?

ive noticed there is more to it now.

once they hijack the account, they create an account with a similar name and import your contacts so they can still appear to be you even after you reclaim or cancel the old account.

I was actually thinking about it earlier today...would we even need IPv6 if we just kicked china and the phillipines off the internet entirely?

I deleted mine just earlier this year because I had forgotten about it. The only person I ever emailed with it was my dad while he was at work back in the day. All of it was lost, I could have cried.
