I'm afraid to walk into the room where I store all my PC's and outdated parts.

No, it's the all-in-one with a 27 " screen, i5 quad core cpu, 1 GB video card, 1TB hard drive and a double layer DVD/CD burner.

I paid $2,000 after an 8% employee discount. Had this been a PC I probably would have paid $1200. But this one has the bonus of with just one click it keeps my wife busy for hours.

I just built that PC for my work computer, more or less, but dual i7's. $1100. That is just one reason why I hate Mac's.

Having a mac and a pc I can honestly say that I definitely prefer my mac although this mac pro I recently got is way too much money for the issues I have encountered with it. Nevertheless fmy mac is faster, it's easier to work with muliplte appilications and find files, and over all its just more user friendly. With that said I really only posted here so that I could add this photo I stumbled upon, which is not really related but it's cute.

I am lost. I don't know where it stores my files. It's not enough that I can access them, I need to know where it stores them. I'm losing sleep and there is something heavy sitting on my soul.

yeah. virginia can help you with that. i actually can find anything on a mac, but only from the terminal.

whats funny is, its a port of unix so when i go into the terminal, i expect that a desktop would be where it is in unix which is like /home/mike/desktop

but when you go into /home/ there is a readme in there that says "this directory only exists because unix expects it to...the files that would normally be here are not"

still. if you know how to use a bash shell, run the terminal application and youll be able to find everything.
