Nicki Minaj- Pink Friday

This is one of the more tame songs on her album. Nicki Minaj is a fucking bad bitch.
The album has a few ballads which I'm not fond of but check out the track with Eminem for the future of music. The beats are sick, the background music is almost confusing, and Nicki spits fire. So there. Fashionable, dancy, and it comes with an attitude.

Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Twisted something or other

This is a thirty minute feature length film by Kanye West. It is equally as bad as his new album.
Kanye West is a fucking idiot. His music hardly makes sense. It is boring, pointless, and retarded. I didn't even realize I had listened to the album once it was over.

Janelle Monae - ArchAndroid

If you haven't seen this, you'd better fucking sit back and turn your speakers up.
Janelle Monae is the newest thing from Outkast's old Big Boi now "Left Foot."
I have only listened to the album a couple times and I still don't feel like I've scratched the surface.
1. Talent
2. Outkast-esque beats/electric guitar/ instruments
3. There's a song called BaBopByeYa
It's the closest modern music can get to art.

Salem - King Night

Heavy beats, thick synth, and you can almost hear the fog machines. The whole album isn't instrumental, which is a relief. It's too bad you can't dance to it unless maybe you took a ton of ecstasy.

Sufjan Stevens - The Age of Adz

If you couldn't guess it from the title, this album is like defying gravity, sitting sideways on the wall when you're used to the floor. It's not bad on the wall. It's just different. More electronic than acoustic, more cinematic sounds than radio ones. But overall, it's a nice mesh. I am not sure if I like it because I know it's Sufjan or if it's actually that good. It's complex enough though and his voice is pretty dreamy either way. I only wish he would sing a little less about love and god and a little more about sex and drugs.

I'm a fan of the Janelle Monae album.

Just remembered I never did a 'favourite albums fo 2010' post.    I need a list of releases in 2010. What came out this year?
