I hear we are neighbours now! How are the baldass prairies of Saskatchewan treating you?

i just spent the last two days visiting yorkton, lagnenburg, russell (mb), and melville - it was my first time outside of saskatoon and while it was a tiring trip - i have to say i really like it here so far.

Nice! I've actually never really been anywhere in Saskatchewan, I've been all over the place except east of my own province, hah :/ What brings you there in anyway?

i came here to get an education.
when you say brings you "there", does that mean you no longer live here?
...and how the hell did you end up on this website? lol

Ahh, a noble cause.
And by "there" I just meant 'what brought you to Saskatchewan?' I guess I worded that a bit weird. I've never lived there, I've lived in Alberta all my life.
Spaz told me about this site a while ago when he first made it, I just forgot about it for a while.

no, the wording was fine - by neighbours i thought you meant you lived in saskatchewan, not literally next door.
well, we had snow last night - and that kinda sucked cause it was 20 degrees in toronto today ;(
but yea, i'm not really here for the sunshine so i'll deal with it.

Ah, righty. Neighbour as in provincial neighbours :] You should visit sometime, have you ever been to the Rockies?
We got snow today as well. I have a love/hate relationship with winter. It means cold and shitty, but it also means snowboarding and throwing snowballs at unsuspecting innocent bystanders.

at some point i might make a weekend trip to edmonton happen - there's a bunch of people in school with me from alberta - but time is a luxury, so it's up in the air.
whereabouts do you live?

I'm actually bout 5 hours south of Edmonton, in a little city called Lethbridge. I occasionally head up to Edmonton to see my sister and some friends, but only about once every 3 months or so. I'm not reeeally a fan of the place, and if I didn't have people to visit I'd probably never go there. :/
I'm up to Calgary lots, though. Which you should definitely try to make it to at least once during the summer, if time/funds allow.

cool - there's a bunch of people from the university of lethbridge in my program - nice folks.
edit: as for calgary - i might be working there in the summer. then again, i might be working anywhere in canada this summer. :D

Yeah, Lethbridge isn't a bad place. The University has some awesome programs.
Where would you want to work in the summer?

the only two criteria i'd like to meet:
1. job is law-related.
2. it pays enough for me to clear a chunk of my student debt.
geographically, past toronto, i'm pretty indifferent...

Ahh, yeah I guess you could really go anywhere if you're looking for law-related. Planning on being a lawyer when all is said and done?

Cindy: jacked.
I wasn't trying to pretend I made this, otherwise I wouldn't have linked it directly from a site called "omgsoysauce".
