Easily one of the strangest, most amazing ensembles of our time. They're playing in Portland on the 17th and I'll be damned if I don't go. Nevermind I don't have a ride there or tickets. They're from South Africa, totally weird, maybe on meth, and I think they come from really poor backgrounds. At least they claim they're South African white trash and that they've been ostracized for a long time, which I don't doubt. I wonder how they were signed, really.
Either way, I am a fan. I totally dig their energy, costuming, and willingness to take it straight to the weird. Oh yeah, and Yolandi is pretty much the wettest dream of my life.
