Rereads
05/29/09 06:57 AM

I am currently rereading 'The Unbearable Lightness Of Being' which I originally read when I was ten or eleven.

What would you like to reread, or are you already doing so?

(Smilies? Are they even useful anymore? Really, text-based smilies have become the rage now...)

What is the general outline of this book? And the other books mentioned in this thread? Save me from googling it.

I really enjoyed Atlas Shrugged but not as much as The Fountainhead, and I plan to read it again soon.
I need to get it on audio since lately I have NO time to do anything, so I need to multi-task.
Another book that I would like to re-read is Demian by Herman Hess. The first time I read it it blew my mind.

East of Eden by John Steinbeck
The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas
Blue Like Jazz by Donald Miller
Of course other re-reads include the Harry Potter series, anything by C.S. Lewis, and Suzanne Collins' The Hunger Games and Catching Fire.

The best of Palahniuk as well, including Choke, Survivor, and Fight Club. Hunter S. Thompson always resurfaces in my re-reads as well, if only for a few chapters. I really enjoy him.
