There seem to be lots of things missing or that just plain don't work.
That's not a question. Its a statement. It's an honest mistake to be sure, but maybe its a sign that you should start spending more time thinking about how you might improve yourself and a little less time nitpicking every little detail of any given website.

Road Trip
02/19/10 08:44 PM

My bff/maid of honor is graduating this year from NIU and we are planning on taking a trip on the Amtrak. We were discussing D.C. or NYC. I would rather go to NYC because it seems like that would be way more fun, but we are also trying to think of other places to go. Any suggestions of other cities or suggestions of must see/do in NYC or DC?

I was thinking we would have a much better time in NYC.
Now we are looking at Canada because we have a free place to stay. I don't think my friend can make up her mind.

I love both cities ALOT, but for different reasons. What are your main purposes for going? Sightseeing? Bar hopping? clubbing?

Have you been to either?

I just want to have fun. I think the whole sightseeing part may get boring for me after awhile.
And I havent been to either.

Well ive been to both many times...
DC is beautiful, food is great, sightseeing is amazing. I really really enjoyed all the museums and history the city has! There is alot to do and the bar scene is nice.

NYC is amazing. I love that city! The food is obviously outstanding (as long as you stay away from the main stream Manhattan tourist food), there are tons of things to do, TONS. Broadway is a passion of mine so thats also amazing.

They are both expensive cities, NYC being a bit more expensive. If you want more info, let me know! :) I love planning trips!

I also would like to take a trip in the next couple of months.  I'm thinking West coast north america as I have never been out that way.  Vancouver, San Francisco, San Diego... any suggestions?
