Well they made it. Though the show went progressively downhill.

good game.

I really hated how the media jumped on this game before it was played and said it wasn't an exciting match up or the Colts are a boring team to watch. Who doesn't want to see two number one's (and almost undefeateds) go at it to claim the best team in the league. The game was pretty decent. Not as exciting as I expected, but you can't always have games go down to the wire like the previous two Super Bowls. However, it was a closer game than the score showed. I think the whole reason I wasn't really into it after the first quarter was because the pool I was in my numbers were 3 - Colts and 0 - Saints to end the first quarter. And with 30 seconds left in the first quarter Manning had to throw a god damn touchdown. If they would have ran the ball and ended the 1st quarter without the touchdown pass I would be going halfsies on $2,300. But now I have $0 to last me til Friday's paycheck.

So other than that I enjoyed the game. Fuck.

yeah. other than the interception, no play stood out as a big play, but everyone played hard and there were a lot of plays with good second effort yardage. i love that shit.

I enjoyed the game alot more than I thought I was going to and the commercials were pretty entertaining.

Why does everyone love that commercial? I mean, it was humorous but it wasn't that good.

The Budlight commercial where everything was made out of full bottles was hilarious and I thought that car commercial with Stevie Wonder punching that Tracy dude was fucking hysterical. Other than that there were very few other good ones and the rest were mediocre.

And I agree with Spaz. No real playmakers or great highlights from the game. Just straight-up hard-nosed football, which isn't all that bad. I liked that there wasn't many penalties in the game either but on the interception Manning was clearly blocked in the back. That was a bad non-call. There were one or two other non-calls that I didn't like, but I'd rather not let penalties (or non-calls for that matter) decide the game. That's my only beef.
