i agree with all of this. i always hated favre, but ive learned to appreciate him for rewriting the rules about how long you can play. I would have been fine with him going to the superbowl this time, but im fine with the saints going to. you can say the vikings beat themselves, but the fact is that both teams played so good that it was anybodies game for every seconds of play. It was bound to be decided by mistakes in the fourth and once again it made me loath the nfl overtime rules.
as for the jets. i love that they lost. i am learning to like sanchez, but i hate jets fans and love to see them mad. part of me wanted them to go all the way though so i could say to any jets fans: "You guys can beat anyone in the NFL...except the dolphins"
Yeah. Overtime makes me cringe after the coin flip. I like the way college runs their OT. I also believe the refs made some blown calls late in the 4th quarter and that was frustrating to see. Even after booth reviews. But they both played amazing football and either team deserved to move on.
Haha. I'm glad the Jets didn't win because that would have been another negative thing to say about Favre. Sanchez isn't bad, but I hate the fact of how they made it into the playoffs. I also hate how Week 14, I think, Rex Ryan said in a press conference how his team has no chance of making it into the playoffs, then when asked about how his team made it to the AFC title game he said he always knew they'd get that far. Though they did beat good teams in the playoffs, they didn't deserve it. And I am starting to dislike Rex Ryan. He's too arrogant, angry and disgusting. "Oh this is how you play New York Jet football." "Oh this is a match-up that no one wanted. Too bad. We're here" He's kind of speaking for everyone else when he should continue on the next hotdog.
