What does Beta mean and how long will idiotechnica.com be in it?
Beta is a fancy schmancy technical term that means: We do not want to take any responsibility for the quality of our software at this time. Idiotechnica will always be in beta.

Why MySpace sucks ass.
01/18/10 05:40 PM

I used a site called imeem for my music pleasure. Created playlists and listened to streaming music while at school or doing some work. During finals week MySpace took a shit on me and bought-out this music phenom because they sucked ass and were losing tons of its members because the ass suckage was beyond bearable. So instead of sucking hard by themselves, they redirected the imeem.com website to myspace.com so you could navigate yourself into a black hole of a suckfest.

They relayed messages like "Don't worry. Your playlists will be available shortly." and "We just raped your eardrums and anal cavities at the same time." Pretty brunt on their part. Anyway, after a month or so of no streaming music for me (and more boycotting of MySuck) I received an email from the suckbunch stating,
"We're happy to share that we've recreated your imeem playlists on MySpace Music. We spent a lot of time and effort to make a home for your music on our platform. Beginning today, you'll be able to access your playlists. Here's how:

1. Access your playlist by clicking here:
www.myspace.com/music/import-playlists.
You will need to be logged into MySpace.
Log in or sign up for MySpace.

2. Enter your imeem e-mail address.

3. Click import and we will retrieve your playlists.

4. Upon completion, your playlists will be stored in
"My Music," our playlist management tool. All
playlists can be identified by the name
"import_[yourplaylistname]"

If you have questions, please visit http://faq.myspace.com/app/home.

Thanks,
The MySpace Music Team"

Thanks Team Suck. A whole month to desecrate an entire working website with a happy community of people who don't suck like the MySpaceCadets. Thank you for taking something good and making it worse. At least you followed through unlike PicRave... which is back up now.

Sorry to hear your troubles, Matt!

Please note that www.idiotechnica.com has never lost a single playlist in its entire existence!       It also took your mom out for a nice dinner, and tipped heavily!  Idiotechnica, your mom belongs here.

this phenomenon is occurring all over the place and has a lot to do with the lack of quality anywhere.  mom and pops get bought out by chains until there is no one left to check and balance the quality of the giants.

it used to be if one place didnt carry this, another place did and so on and so forth. now its at best buy, or no where.

eventually the entire web will be one url. probly facebook.

idiotechnica will either become a facebook app,or have a picravesque welcome page.

That's pretty pessimistic. Why can't facebook be an idiotechnica.com app?

websites are fads. i'm surprised yahoo is still around.

myspace will go under if their investments fall through and i believe facebook, like twitter, is another innovative installment in the progressing cycle. a few years from now facebook will be a lame dwelling like myspace if they can keep innovating their site and not allow for a fresh idea to take them out. i don't believe we'll ever have one solid website that'll stay afloat and keep the attention of its users. only news sites and search engines will have a sustainable life. My friend told me about that. I just was devastated when I found out all of my songs and playlists were gone, so I was in a little music depression. Why start all over? I really don't feel like re-making my lists and I still haven't imported them or signed back up to mysuck for them. That's how bad of an effect it had on me. So basically suck a fuck.
