they are trying to reinvent the pro bowl since no one gives a shit. not even the players want to play in it anymore.

they feel like they can market it to the everyman if they start touring it the same way as they do the superbowl.  i dont even think it has to be in the same city as the superbowl like it happens to be doing this year.

The Hawaiin culture is very protective of its women and allowing in a group of pro athletes was counter productive to that cause.

its hard to psyched about it when there is nothing riding on the game.  the one nice thing is you see the players getting along and goofing off.  its refreshing...but its just not that exciting to watch. on tv that is. id probably have a good time in person. now we just have to address my own lack of motivation.

actually a lot of the players were upset that they moved it from Hawaii, they didnt care about playing so much as getting the free family vacation to Hawaii.

im sure they could get their agents to find them a free trip to hawaii anyways....or they could pay for it and probably still get by somehow.

I understand that. But since there is nothing riding on the game, it may be a relief to some players and more of a fun time for them, like you said.
Im not sure if I would watch it on tv, im only excited because ill be there!
