Posts: General / Ive got an idea for the news articles

If you make a news article under the video game news section or science and nature, relationship news, and so on, could you have it show up in same are if as the regular threads? Like (valley girl moment), video game news article show up with video game threads if you click on the "Video Games" discussion option (on left hand side of forums page).

its a good idea and something ive been trying to figure out the best way to do in my head. part of me agrees to have them separate on the side, part of me wants them all to show up in the threads list. or to have something that is just a category list that includes threads, links, pictures or whatever. havent decided the best way to display it...or implement it.

i'll figure it out.

i agree with the concept. just not sure whats simple. when you arent stupid, knowing what stupid people need is difficult. =[

i think ultimately what i am going to do is get rid of the link categories and make them discussion categories. then instead of having a discussion called links...ill have the links save to a discussion topic. then in say...science youll see both threads and links posted in the science discussion...then ill make the fact that its a link obvious by appending some kidn of icon or info to the thread listing.
