There seem to be lots of things missing or that just plain don't work.
That's not a question. Its a statement. It's an honest mistake to be sure, but maybe its a sign that you should start spending more time thinking about how you might improve yourself and a little less time nitpicking every little detail of any given website.

I'd love to get 10 hours of sleep per day but I've been getting 4 on average. Gah.

doing good. looking forward to winter break and sleeping more then 4-6 hours a night and not working 60 hour weeks.although this winter break I still have a book chapter to write (for a evolutionary parenting handbook, which I am excited about...my chapter is on the trails and tribulations of childhood), two studies to get ready to run, my master's thesis to write, and a partridge in a pear tree.

I wanted to see the lighting of the tree but I cant deal with all those people! We are staying with some friends. So far on the agenda ive got as many Broadway shows as i can, beer garden in Astoria, a Dean and Deluca cupcake and dinner at Otto's (Mario Batali's place which is outstanding).

I am sick. In fact, I called out of work so I could go to the doctor :
+ I have health insurance
+ I have really fucking good health insurance and they cover everything
- I dont have a doctor yet
- I have to find a female doctor with availability today
- every place i've called thus far (to get their hours, etc) has had a stupid long voicemail giving you a lot of options including telling you to call back, has not had their hours on it.
- it feels bronchial. :(

Yikes, that's never fun :/ Maybe you could to to an emerg clinic? And why does it have to be a female doctor, if you don't mind me asking?

i may just try a regular walk-in-clinic. my copays for emerg kinda suck, and its not that bad. i just dont want to wait with it any longer and have it be bronchitis or something :(
I have a thing with doctors. i only go to female doctors. i dunno why, ever since i was a kid. probably because my mom preferred them as well (makes it a bitch to find eye doctors and dentists though, lemmetellyouwhat)

I was going to do it on the possible adaptive benefits of religious thinking in young children. Specifically whether stories with supernatural agents facilitate memory retention and problem solving. Before the advent of written language oral traditions were the only means to spread culture and I believe that stories involving spirits and ghosts and magical powers intertwined with the moral objectives provide the best format for not only remembering the story content but also in the retelling of the information.

But I have also been doing work on the adaptive nature of children immature thinking. I have done 3 studies already on this and am working on two follow up studies including the use of pictures of children, in which I manipulate their facial features to look either cute or less cute. Because I have done so much with these studies already I was thinking of using this rather then the first.

But I am not sure yet.

What Broadway shows were you thinking about seeing? I have seen Cats and Moving Out on Broadway. Cats was weird but the songs were great but Moving Out was kinda boring despite me liking Billy Joel a lot.

Never heard of this beer garden in Astoria, what is it?
