Posts: Music / Silver Starling

Just put on one of the best performances I've seen this year. This was my first time seeing this band play live, so their encapsulating sound caught me completely off guard. They opened (and perhaps even upstaged) Ohbijou, with an incredibly tight set.

I'm taking their album for a spin right now. My first impression is this recording doesn't quite live up to the live show, but really, when does it ever? Still, this is definitely a band to watch out for, and if they ever play your town I would highly recommend them to anyone.
