There seem to be lots of things missing or that just plain don't work.
That's not a question. Its a statement. It's an honest mistake to be sure, but maybe its a sign that you should start spending more time thinking about how you might improve yourself and a little less time nitpicking every little detail of any given website.

Joss Whedon picks a fight with 'the Terminator'
11/04/09 12:18 PM

http://www.cnn.com/2009/S.../index.html

Film-maker Joss Whedon says he wants to buy the rights to the multi-million dollar "Terminator" franchise -- not for millions, or hundreds of thousands of dollars, but for ten grand.

That's right, $10,000.

The "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" creator made the unlikely bid in an open letter to the owners of the franchise posted on fan site Whedonesque.

Whedon, the force behind the "Buffy" and "Angel" TV series, as well as the short-lived "Firefly" and new show "Dollhouse," outlines six apparently jokey ideas for the franchise in the letter.

He writes: "Christian Bale's John Connor will get a throat lozenge. This will also help his Batwork (ten grand for that franchise too, btw.)"

Whedon also suggests sending a Terminator to Middle Earth, who helps because "he's a cyborg and he doesn't give a s#&% about the ring -- it has no power over him!"

But Whedon, who wrote the memorable "Once More, With Feeling" musical episode of "Buffy," draws the line at incorporating song into the "Terminator" concept.

"Can you say ... musical? Well don't. Even I know that's an awful idea," he says.

I love that with 2 more sequels planned, they had to bail on the franchise because they can't make the money they expect. I didn't think Salvation was THAT bad. It did convince me that Sam Worthington has screen presence and deserves to be in more movies.

on the bright side, now that the series is canceled, Whedon can have Summer Glau back, hopefully to do something worthwhile with.

Firefly creator Joss Whedon has quashed rumours of the show’s revival but has assured fans that the universe has far from ended.

The cult sci-fi series was axed by FOX after just twelve episodes in 2002 but hopes of a return were recently ignited by the success of the show’s DVD release and a spinoff movie, Serenity.

"We’ll never make Firefly again, because that was a thing that existed and is now gone," Whedon told USA Today. "And Serenity isn’t Firefly, and whatever comes next won’t be, either. But I would love to tell more stories of this universe and to hang out with these people on and off for the rest of my career."

Now he hopes the DVD release of Serenity will make the case for further films in the franchise. "The best-case scenario is that the DVD is such a spectacular, monster hit that we get to make another movie. Then we get to make another movie. After three movies, we’re all very tired," he added, joking : "After Serenity : Revolutions, we feel like we’ve played it out. And then we make another series."
