alright, spill it... Costumes? Plans?

A girl at work showed me her "costume" and said she was going to be a pin-up girl. Uh, the costume consists of a top covering her boobs, a garter belt and stockings. That is not my idea of a costume!

I'm actually sitting in my cubicle at work dressed as a hot dog.

I really hope you went about it the right way and washed your hair with hot dog water so the smell would be part of the costume.

Yes, Halloween themed. Everyone gets to wear a costume to the wedding so long as it is formal to slightly casual - no gore or anything obnoxious. Some of the costumes I'll see are geisha, Cleopatra, Elvira, Elvis, Audrey Hepburn...

Should be fun and make for great pictures.

I'm just going to be handing out candy, hopefully with my bulldog dressed as a ballerina. I also just carved my first pumpkin, it was pretty exciting.

Yeah, her dress is white with red detail I think. All of the wedding services are being done by friends and coworkers. My manager is doing her makeup, two coworkers in the business dept are manning the barbecue, my cubicle neighbor is a DJ and doing the music, all of her bridesmaids made the party favors and flower arrangements... I think she told me it all came out to 5 grand or so. Her best friend is a photographer - so other than paying for the picture paper - that's free as well.

Nope, canceled due to the possible impending sale and Marty's training in Ft Stewart. I was pretty down in the dumps about it, had made cute lil invitations and everything. We're making up for it by vacationing in North Myrtle Beach, SC for Thanksgiving weekend. What are you two doing?

that sucks but I suppose you can reuse them next year.

Been so busy with school I am looking forward to a relaxing weekend. We are probably going to stay local and check out the party seen on the boardwalk down here. Might end up getting some costumes tomorrow while we are out. Told Mike I would dress up for him if he wants.
