Had to purchase some expensive internet time from my hotel in Zurich Switzerland in order to book some rooms in Munich, Germany for the next leg of our trip.
I'm unable to go into details, but we survived a very rainy Antwerp, Belgium only to make a decision at 4a.m. to catch a 5a.m. train to Zurich. It was well worth it. The people and sights of Switzerland have been absolutely fantastic.
A quick shout out to all the great people that have crossed our path:
- Yannick and Paul - two retirees we met on a train traveling through France.
- Gustavo and Go - two Brazillians who came to Zurich with even less of a plan than me and ACP. They were happy to accept us as their tour guides up the Uetliberg even though we had no idea where we were going or what we were doing.
- Carla - the solo traveling, flip-flop wearing Aussie who also joined us on our venture up the Uetliberg. Best of luck to her on the rest of her trip.
- Andre (with an accent on the "e" that is difficult to type on an American-style macbook keyboard) - the talented graphic designer and artist who drew ACP's portrait in 30 seconds flat on a train from Luzern to Zurich. He also helped us out by offering some rad suggestions on some places to check out in Zurich.
A million pics to come - my net time is about to expire.
Hope to update again from Munich.
Signing off,
-Dylan.
