What does Beta mean and how long will idiotechnica.com be in it?
Beta is a fancy schmancy technical term that means: We do not want to take any responsibility for the quality of our software at this time. Idiotechnica will always be in beta.

It turns out that LiveNation.com automatically charged me and subscribed me to this magazine when I purchased concert tickets from their website. I have dealt with this issue with Best Buy before as well. I do not understand why two giant companies with an obviously successful business plan for earning legitimate money have to resort to dishonest business practices to steal money from people. I wonder if anyone ever subscribed to Entertainment Weekly because they actually wanted it. If you have to secretly force someone to subscribe to your magazine, it probably sucks. Of course they will give you your money back if you send them snail mail requesting it. Isn't it interesting that they can instantly and automatically charge me for it but I have to go on a mission to get the money back? I am assuming that is the key to the scam. They probably get some kind of legal protection by offering you the money back but do it in a way that is so difficult that most people won't bother to follow through. It seems to me that if they can charge me instantaneously for something I never asked for that they should by law be required to refund me just as fast once I have discovered the sleazy thing they have done. Obama is going after the Credit Card companies for the crap they pull. I hope the government goes after these types of businesses next. So there you have it. Live Nation is corrupt. Best Buy is corrupt. Entertainment Weekly is corrupt. Bastards. Leave Comment:
